There have been a lot of fisticuffs over Pinot Grigio. Basically the Italians can't make as much as we all want to drink. But we have managed to come out on top. While everyone else was playing around with their calculators, we went and bought our wine before the vintage was finished. And it turns out we got a great price too.
If you've marked Rosés down as the overly sweet sickly wines of the Mateus Era then think again. Times have changed. Modern Rosés are refreshing, fruitier and more substantial than a white but crisper and lighter than a red. They're perfect to enjoy all year round, not only in the summer. This rosé has all the zest and verve of a Pinot Grigio, with some of the flavour and colour from the pink skins squeezed into it. Refreshing, thirst quenching and more-ish, it's a can't go wrong, pleases-everyone wine.
Made by one of the best producers in Piedmont. Super pure with a wonderful Pinot Grigio character from the low-yield grapes. The number one craving when the sun comes out. No wonder it's so in vogue.
Grown in Trentino in the foothills of the Alps, this little beauty delivers pure clean and crisp lemony lime Pinot Grigio fruit. Hard to think of a more refreshing drop. The great thing about PG is that there is no bad time to serve this wine - with food, before food, after food, just go for it!
What could be better than your favourite Pinot Grigio? Easy. Your favourite Pinot Grigio with bubbles. You don't have to pay very much for the extra joie de vivre!
As you know Pinot Grigio is delicious, but did you know it has pink skin? This is a revolutionary pink fizz, that's super refreshing, not too dry with lovely delicate flavours that will set any celebration alight. Brilliant value, all-rounder which is guaranteed to get your guests smiling.
This deep, rich Alsace-style wine is dripping with clean, peppery fruit tastes that will make you feel like you're chomping your way through the liquidised ingredients of grandma's fruitcake, but with a clean crisp taste where the sticky ceramic bowl should be. A fantastic aperitif, this crunchy wine will see you through the summer in style.
This wine is a cracker: a boutique-quality Pinot Grigio that hails from a beautiful little family-run estate in one of the new, pioneering areas in South Africa's Cape. The Breedekloof is a great area for making fresh-as-a-daisy whites of which this is a good example. It will blow away most Italian Pinot Grigios with ease and is a genuine hand-made product to boot. It is pin-bright and full of refreshing citrus spritz.
